Izzy Fowler - Director
Izabella Fowler has been working on film officially since she was in eighth grade. Izabella has had a love for film since she was very young and the film program at viewpoint is the reason why she fell in love with the school. She has been concentrating her time on writing and directing throughout her years of viewpoint film. Baby Fever is Izabella’s third short film in high school that she has directed and written. She learned a lot about the directing process over this year, especially how to communicate with the cast and crew on set. Izabella has been a dedicated member of the film program, she co-created the film club in her junior year. Izabella is currently applying to film schools at the moment and is hoping to study film in the fall.
Jayden Karapetian - Director of Photography
Jayden Karapetian was the Director of Photography as well as one of the editors for Baby Fever. He has been an avid member of the Viewpoint Film program since 8th grade and has continued to explore many different positions through both in-school and independent projects, such as Director of Photography, Editor, Sound Technician, Director, etc. Jayden has also worked for many organizations/institutions related to film, including property montages for JayLucDom Investments Inc, the USC Institute of Armenian Studies #MyArmenianStory, and he is currently working for one of MPTF’s television programs Wandering the Worldwide Web. Jayden has applied to many film schools across the country and will be majoring in film fall of 2023.
Izzy Lieberman - Producer
Izzy has been immersed in film since he was born, going to sets with his father who is a producer. At viewpoint, Izzy has been in film since 6th grade, creating a film club, and making movies with his friends. More recently, Izzy has been in a disney show, “Sydney to the Max”, as well as directing and writing his own film titled “Sugar”. “Baby Fever" is his first time producing, and he has loved it. When he is not filming, he is playing football for the Varsity team, or hanging out with friends. Izzy will be attending the University of Pennsylvania to continue his film career.
Mustafa Shaheen - Assistant Director
Mustafa Shaheen has been taking classes in film since 6th grade. This was his first major production where he was in the position of assistant director. Mustafa is going to CSUN where he will be minoring in film and where he will be pursuing his passion for film.
Jamie Greenberg - Assistant Camera and Lighting
Jamie Greenberg has been an invaluable member of the Viewpoint film department since 8th grade. She was the assistant camera and lights on Baby Fever. Two of her films, I’ll Always Miss You and Zoom Fatigue, were selected to be featured in the Calabasas Film Festival. She is skilled in editing, cinematography, sound, and lighting. Jamie has volunteered to work on many of her peers’ films and is known to be a great team member and leader. Jamie will be majoring in neuroscience and minoring in film at Washington University in St. Louis next year.
lexi Goodman - Set design and props
Lexi has been taking film at viewpoint school since 7th grade, and has continued to grow her skills in the art. Lexi did set design and props on this film Baby Fever and was a great addition to the team. She is still waiting for acceptances from colleges so she is not quite sure where she wants to go yet. Lexi also plays soccer on the girls varsity soccer team and has been playing on that team since 7th grade. She plans on continuing film and acting in college.
Sasha Hale - Editor
Sasha Hale is the main editor and the boom operator of Baby Fever. He has been passionate about filmmaking since he was very young. He has enjoyed working alongside his peers in the Viewpoint High School film program, having edited multiple short films over the years. This project was a great opportunity for him to become familiar with how to operate a boom mic as well as improve on his editing skills. He is considering film as a major for college.
Marina Baier - Art director
Marina Baier is a senior at Viewpoint and has been in the film program for four years. On Baby Fever, she worked as Art Director and covered the roles of costume designer, prop master, and makeup artist. In junior year, she wrote and directed her own film titled LoveSick. Marina loves watching movies and makes sure to see all films that come out. Next year, Marina will continue her education majoring in public relations or communications and media.
